ShowShare is an application which you may place anywhere on your hard disk. Also included with ShowShare is a file named ‚ÄúShowShare Balloon Help‚Äù. This file is optional; if you don‚Äôt wish to have balloon help available you don‚Äôt have to install it. If you do wish to install it, drop it into your ‚ÄúPreferences‚Äù folder inside your ‚ÄúSystem Folder‚Äù.

  3. ShowShare doesn‚Äôt require much memory; it can survive inside about 25K under most circumstances. You may need to increase this depending upon your setup; please report your discoveries.

  5. When you run ShowShare it checks a few things:

  7. ‚Ä¢ Are you running System 7.0 or later;
  8. ‚Ä¢ Is the File Sharing Extension installed;
  9. ‚Ä¢ Is AppleTalk ‚Äúactive‚Äù.

  11. If any of these fails, you cannot run ShowShare.
